Recruitment Fraud Alert

Beware of fraudulent job postings and offers

We at Kyndryl have been made aware of an ongoing scam in which malicious actors impersonate Kyndryl or its representatives. These fraudulent schemes often appear as requests for employment opportunities. Scammers typically reach out through Telegram, Signal, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, email or other communication/messaging platforms.

Common scam tactics:

  • Fake job offers: Fraudsters send messages offering employment opportunities,  often requesting payment for recruitment processing. Kyndryl never charges candidates for job applications or interviews.

  • Non-payment for work: Scammers may ask victims to complete work for a 'promised' fraudulent payment that never materializes.

  • Fake email correspondence: Messages may appear from unofficial email addresses, such as Kyndryl@gmail.com or recruiting@kyndryl-hr-help.com, and will falsely offer interviews or job placements.

How to protect yourself:

  • Kyndryl and its employees will never ask for payment for job applications, interviews, or project work.

  • Kyndryl conducts business solely through official company domains and does not use third-party chat platforms for hiring.

  • Verify any suspicious communication using the Contact Us button at the bottom of this page.

  • If you have an existing partnership or contract with Kyndryl, confirm unexpected requests by reaching out to your Kyndryl contact directly.

If you have received a suspicious message:

We understand that being targeted by these scams can be frustrating. Fraudsters often gather details from social media to personalize their messages and create urgency. Be cautious when receiving unexpected business communications, especially those requesting payments, personal/sensitive information, or immediate action.

If you have any doubts about the legitimacy of a message appearing to come from Kyndryl, contact us directly through official channels.

We regret any inconvenience this situation may have caused, and we encourage your vigilance in protecting yourself and others from fraud.
