The new cloud-first environment enables Megmilk Snow Brand to integrate the company’s data to inform more strategic business planning and decision-making.
Megmilk Snow Brand selected “resilience” as the theme of its Medium-Term Management Plan 2025, with digital transformation at the core of its business strategy. With its 100th anniversary in May, Megmilk Snow Brand is focused on driving innovation and delivering greater customer value over the next century.
The integrated DWH system is a data warehouse that can store diverse and large-scale data generated in business activities such as logistics, production, sales, finance and ordering operations. By being able to collect and analyze data quickly across the company, Megmilk Snow Brand makes more informed decisions to better manage its daily operations and help formulate new business strategies.
The integrated DWH system has been migrated from traditional on-premises to the cloud to ensure scalability, flexibility and ease of operation as the business grows. As a solution, Kyndryl tapped into the capabilities of Teradata VantageCloud and MicroStrategy Cloud Environment. Teradata VantageCloud is a fast, high-capacity and scalable data analytics platform. MicroStrategy Cloud Environment provides interactive dashboards and analysis tools to gain real-time insights from your data. In addition, Amazon EC2 was adopted for the operational infrastructure, including file linkage and job management.
