LIMA, Peru, March 11, 2024 — Interseguro, a leading insurance provider in Peru, and Kyndryl, the world's largest IT infrastructure services provider, today announced an agreement to transform the insurer’s IT environment by moving its critical business applications from a traditional on-premises infrastructure to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Interseguro specializes in annuities, life insurance and bancassurance, and in the last few years has seen a considerable increase in sales of services through its digital platforms. To enhance its current omnichannel go-to-market strategy, Interseguro needed to transform its IT operations to better leverage market and customer data to introduce new and more flexible and secure services.
To create new digital services and scale its business, Interseguro assessed its business applications and evaluated cloud technologies best suited to its needs. Working with Kyndryl Consult experts, they identified Google Cloud as the most suitable platform to start Interseguro's journey to cloud.
By entrusting Kyndryl with this planning and cloud migration, Interseguro will be able to advance its business digital modernization goals, gain efficiency in operating costs, increase agility, and better analyze and mine its data for insights to improve decision-making and deepen understanding of the ever-evolving customer needs.

As part of the project, Kyndryl's and Interseguro’s teams will work in multidisciplinary squads to manage technological environments and evaluate cloud use strategies to ensure adequate financial management of cloud consumption (FinOps), which aims to maximize the business value that the company will gain from its migration to the cloud. Likewise, the teams will analyze and plan for the integration of new emerging technology options for the future, such as artificial intelligence, to continuously reinvent themselves for customers.
To accelerate its cloud journey, Interseguro will invest in training its teams through the Tech Academy to build cloud skills among employees.
