In a first phase, the service will monitor the experience of the 25,000 users of Osakidetza, the Basque health service
Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, June 15, 2023 — Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), the world's largest IT infrastructure services provider, today announced that it is launching a service to improve the digital workplace experience of the Basque Government’s public employees, starting with the 25,000 workers of the Basque health service, Osakidetza.
In recent years, the advance of new teleworking scenarios and mobile workstations, and increased demands for access from different locations, means that employees need modern technological tools and personalized attention to boost productivity and improve professional performance and satisfaction. For this aim, following a public tender, the IT company of the Basque Government (EJIE) awarded the project to Kyndryl due to its expertise and experience.
Kyndryl's Digital Workplace Services practitioners will help EJIE with the supply, configuration and deployment of a monitoring solution based on FlexxClient technology from specialist software provider Flexxible. The solution will collect and analyze information from end-user workstations and applications, enabling analysis of the user experience from different workplaces and facilitating faster and more proactive incident resolution.
The services include the configuration of automatic actions for resolving incidents and obtaining energy consumption metrics. Kyndryl will also provide EJIE with a console for user experience analysis, integrated with the rest of the tools already available to Basque public bodies.
